The Salamanca district, a bustling area of restaurants, bars, tapas bars and stores, also has the best shopping area of the city. The city thrives, with many theatres and cinemas, a concert hall, music clubs and art galleries. Madrid is the birthplace of "la marcha", the intense nightlife of the madrileños. The city centre is filled with all kinds of clubs for dancing, socialising and people-watching right through the night.

Our partner school in Madrid is a large school, which receives more than 1,900 foreign students every year. The school has 25 air-conditioned classrooms, a social area, video room and library, and has recently been refurbished.
It is member of IALC, the International Association of Language Centres which was founded in 1983 to accredit and represent private, independent language schools teaching the official language(s) of their country.
In Madrid you will study in the prestigious Salamanca district, just one block from Retiro Park and a short walk from the Prado Museum and other magnificent buildings. Transport connections are excellent: many buses and two underground lines stop nearby.

Standard Course (20 +4 culture lessons/week)
The Intensive Course is a core programme of 20 lessons of Spanish language per week, which develops and improves your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. You learn Spanish grammar and practise it in real-life communicative situations, using newspapers, magazines, audio-visual materials and course books.
Number of lessons: 20 Spanish lessons + 4 culture classes per week.
Duration: From 1 - 8 weeks
Students per class: Maximum 6 (in May, June and July maximum: 9 students)
Available all year except for bank and christmas holidays. .
'One-to-one' Private Classes
Individual tuition suits people who want to improve their Spanish very quickly and intensively. It is a popular choice for business and professional people whose time is limited and who may have very specialised requirements.
Individual tuition is perfect for improving a particular skill or a particular language area, from social Spanish to sales negotiating, report-writing or examination preparation. One-to-One tuition is completely tailor-made and therefore possible for all language levels, from absolute beginner to pre-bilingual. Through pre-course consultation and a needs analysis we establish your existing skills, linguistic needs and professional requirements. Materials from your work can be incorporated into the course.

DELE Examination Preparation Course (20 + 4 culture lessons per week)
DELE Course Our preparatory courses for the official DELE examinations in Spanish as a foreign language take place before the examination dates in May and November.The course lasts five or ten weeks and develops all your Spanish language skills, with particular focus on the internationally recognised examinations. You can prepare for the Inicial and Intermedio Diplomas in all four Sampere schools in Spain. Preparation for theSuperior is offered in Madrid only. Registration for the examination is not included in the course price.
Number of lessons: 20 DELE lessons plus 4 culture lessons per week

 Shared flat
Renting a student room gives you a more independent lifestyle. You share an apartment with two to four other people, usually other students from the school, with whom you also share certain expenses and the household tasks. Most students book single rooms. Two people travelling together may request a double room. The kitchen, living room and bathroom are communal. You pay small expenses in the apartment such as gas, soap, cleaning material, etc. Together you are responsible for keeping the apartment clean. The distance from the shared apartment to our school in Madrid can be up to 40 minutes on public transport.
Spanish host family
Homestay or family accommodation is the most popular choice, It can be booke with half board (breakfast and dinner and lunch on weekends) or full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Many of our host families have young or adult children. Students eat with the family and thus participate more directly in a Spanish environment. We recommend this option to our students who wish to live in a more Spanish environment and practise the language. Cleaning and one laundry wash per week are included. Please note that breakfast is a light meal in Spain, consisting of coffee and biscuits or bread. Lunch is the main meal for many Spaniards and is taken between 1.30 and 3pm. Dinner is usually tortilla, cold meats, salads, sandwiches, etc., and is taken between 8 and 10pm. The maximum distance from the host family to our school in Madrid 30 minutes on public transport.
Private apartment
Apartments are available for individuals or two people booking together. Our studios have one or two beds, a fully equipped bathroom with towels, kitchenette with refrigerator and other services for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The studios are within walking distance of the school. The minimum stay is 1 week.They are fully equipped (washing machine, household items, sheets, blankets, towels, etc.) and all utilities (electricity, water, heating, towels, etc.) are included in the price.
